the SB should be the expectation of every fan.....maybe not the Falcons, since they will always choke...

amen. better to have hope of being great rather than just knowing you are at best an average team.

lacking faith in your team sucks. having low expectations suck. I'd rather believe they were capable of great things and quite able of delivering on them. i don't.

True... I just had such high expectations last season probably the reason why I lost my confidence in them. Plus I'm not to confident with the Shula promotion hope he proves me wrong though

I'd say we're far worse. Why?

- Shula 1st year back at OC

- 89 is a year older than last year

- no hope in any receivers after 89 (LaFail)

- more pressing needs at CB, FS, OG, DT, WR, OT

- over the salary cap

I would think we are better off than in January of 2012. We had a full offseason so that the team actually understands the system we are running. Losing as we did at the beginning of 2012 helped the players understand that winning is about more than talent which is a lesson we needed to learn.

I think that Cam made worlds of progress, we found our MLB for the next decade, and Rivera learned a great deal from the mistakes he made. The players all learned that anyone can be fired and you must produce or be gone. We have a new GM who knows player talent. The offense is still a work in progress but it was productive. The defense showed big improvement and both Johnson and Hardy had breakout years. We found out that the Captain could play and found some secondary players for the future. Davis is back and looking very good for the future.

Yeah we are better............

invalid question really, we have hindsight, we know chud/Hurney wern'te going to work out

but the answer is NO, at least it doesn't seem that way

We have a new OC that was promoted purely out of stability/despiration and because he was tied to Rivera, a lame duck HC who has everyone around him believing they are here only for another year, Gettleman is an upgrade but he is defaulted by our detication to Rivera because he is limited in what he is able to do and show us as a GM. Last year was suppose to be set up for a nice season, this season is just one big ? clusterfug where I think almost everyone will be suprised if it works out.

you could argue Chud made things worse as did Hurney so we are better off without them, but better off doesn;t mean better, it means not as bad. This question really makes no sense, it'd be like asking in the beginning of 2012 if we were in a better then or in a year from then. Asking after 2013 would be silly because you'd know the outcomes.

i would just like to know how much longer they think that rome is going to be under construction and where they are expecting to be in this process of theirs next year.

You think this is bad...ask someone who lives in Atlanta when the road construction will be finished.
