I don't need to bring advanced weapons. Just learn to make gunpowder and other weapons that would be a bit more advanced than the populace knows at the time and you're golden. Know the "history" of your area for the next 100-200 years to know who to get in good with and to avoid.

A 64GB iPad with as many technical manuals and text books as I could cram into it
Ultrabook laptop with several 1 TB external SSDs also filled with info on manufacturing and resource acquisition.
My Glock with 1500 or so rounds
My water purification gear with extra filters
Antibiotics

Tylenol/Advil/ whatever medicine I think I might need.
A pair of Glock 9mm with as much ammo as I could fit.
Water purification tablets.
World History book
And if I could find it, a listing of the major weather and geological events of that time period.
And the most recent copy of penthouse.

All of you have all of this stuff just lying around your house?
I have everything I listed except the electronic books but I could download all of that by Monday.

If I am going back in time, I could just steal it since I wouldn't have to worry about going to jail.

This is the way to go, knowledge is power and digital stuff is very space efficient as long as you take something to charge it. I'd probably take 2 small netbooks (in case one fugs up) and a bunch of hard drives- basically take all the info I can. Thorough history of the era and culture/ language, detailed maps, info on edible plants/ animals of the region, basic tech and scientific manuals, all the royal bloodlines. Probably take some medicine too, little gold, and small revolver with a few rounds
The goal would be to become the right hand man for a king, then live the life of luxury while giving him just enough knowledge to keep him in power
