It'll probably go under the radar with SI's Ray Lewis / Swats story going on now. I know that Lewis is denying that he has contacted or talked with SWATS. However he did tell SI that he talked with them and ordered the normal stuff from Swats... Stickers and such. lmao ....

When asked by SI whether he had talked to Ross, Lewis replied, "I told him to send me some more of the regular stuff, the SWATS, the stickers or whatever." Asked by the magazine whether what he was sent helped, Lewis replied: "I think a lot of things helped me."

Its better to keep your mouth shut and appear stupid than to open it and remove all doubt.

You should heed your own advice.

It is retarded.

ok what's the cutoff age between people who don't care about this and the ones who want every superbowl to be held in an open air stadium north of the 38th parallel because of their obsession with decades old football that they used to watch before everything started aching

ESPN is just quoting an article from the upcoming SI issue, that has quotes from Ray Lewis in it. He can't deny it to one place and say something else to another and expect to keep integrity. I mean he told SI for the article that he did indeed order from SWATS, at least according to the SI article.

Superbowl should NOT only be given to dome teams. weather impacts who gets to the Superbowl.....dumb logic to then rule it out for the last game

I think the criticism is kinda silly myself.

They could hold Super Bowl in Alaska and you'll still see shirtless fans in the bleachers (alcohol in hand, of course).

A multimillion dollar athlete - who incidentally plays in Baltimore - complaining about playing in the cold comes off sounding like a spoiled, whiny little baby.

It's football.

I don't mind a cold weather superbowl so that some of these locales that are ignored can get their share of the spotlight. I'm gonna try and see if I can get tickets for this next one because MetLife stadium is like barely 25 minutes away from me. Obviously there are other metropoleis whose local fans need to buy a plane ticket and a hotel room to be able to witness a superbowl in person, and it does get repetitive seeing the game being played in the same 3 stadiums over and over again. Superdome, Raymond James Stadium, Sun Life Stadium, repeat.

but having more cold weather superbowls for the sake of having them play in cold weather is as retarded as Flacco says it is

I don't think they're doing it specifically so they can play in cold weather.

I just figure other cities want in on all the action that comes from having a Super Bowl.

Can't really blame 'em.
