I would expect to see the huddle judeo-christian values crowd agreeing with this sentiment in chorus... right guys? right?

iirc several books of the bible focused primarily on the virtue of conspicuous consumption

This is pretty fuging stupid knowing Ratliff provided the props for Kyle Myers. Kyle Myers (main FPS Russia character/gun enthusiast/gun demonstrator) is alive and well.

But awesome bullshit post you have there...

Not anymore since you've already marginalized those of us who would. Good job.

I am not a gun owner nor would I ever hold a gun, therefore:
1) I cannot shoot myself, intentionally or accidentally
2) I cannot shoot someone else, intentionally or accidentally
3) I can be shot by someone else, intentionally or accidentally

If I were a gun owner, the above would read as follows:
1) I can shoot myself, intentionally or accidentally
2) I can shoot someone else, intentionally or accidentally
3) I can be shot by someone else, intentionally or accidentally

That logic is about as ignorant as

If I have a vagina
1) I can be a prostitute

If I am a prostitute:
1) I can contract an STD from someone paying for sex
2) I can contract an STD from someone that is not paying for sex with me

If I am not a prostitute:
1) I cannot contract an STD from someone paying for sex, because I don't fug for money
2) I can contract an STD from someone that is not paying for sex with me

I just wish NOTN would reply to this.

As you wish. Kudos to you, Mom's Lover! Apparently Ratliff was only assisting on the FPSRussia channel, contrary to the information contained in the article I originally cited. My source was incorrect on that point. How exactly does that materially change the circumstances of Ratliff's death? Was he any less of a gun fanatic for having less views on his YouTube site? Does it make him any less dead?

Quote from your source: Ratliff did have his own YouTube channel, Kydivemaster, which had far fewer views than the FPSRussia channel. Most of the videos on Ratliff's channel are about modifying and shooting guns. He also made videos that promoted the benefits of carrying a concealed weapon. The tagline for his channel is "Guns Guns and More Guns." Read more here: http://www.kentucky....l#storylink=cpy

Never-the-less, last week, the authorities said, Mr. Ratliff, 32, ended up on the wrong end of a gun. The police in northeast Georgia found him dead at his office on Jan. 3, shot once in the head. He was surrounded by several guns, but not the one that killed him. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation is treating it as a homicide. Looks like "Guns Guns and More Guns Ratliff" found out the hard way that there really is such a thing as too many guns. Here is the Bottom Line: Gun owners and their families are still many times more likely to be killed with a firearm than those who don't own one and an errant video credit doesn't change that reality in anyway.

This is a fuging pointless argument. It is common sense to know that if you have an equation in which something is added to something, you have more of something.

Basically it is like saying "Surprise! Smoking cigarettes makes it more likely for you to get lung cancer!"

No poo, Sherlocks.

If I've got a fishing rod in my truck, there's probably a good chance I'll use it sometime and snag myself with a hook if I'm not careful.

That story must be fake since he had guns and the training to protect himself. BTW Mister Beaux nailed it.

Yes, it is so obvious, and yet it isn't.
