That's an interesting collection of charts. The only thing that really jumps out at me is how we spend the second least on ST heh. I assume that just means K and P.

Well, that and how we spend more on RBs than OTs.

Some teams spent a ton of money for crappy ST results. Baltimore was ranked number 1 by football outsiders and spent 3.1 million. We ranked 29th and spent 1.4 million. Who was right there with us? Oakland at 28th spend 10.9 million. What did San Frans 7.5 millions net them?? 20th place......
Doesn't seem to be a strong correlation between amount spent and results obtained.

Oakland's money is tied up in Janikowski and Lechler. They are easily the best kicker/punter duo in the NFL. So the rankings might not tell the whole story there.

We have way too much money tied up in RB's that cant run the ball up the middle because we don't have enough money to pay some good Guards to open holes for them.

I wonder what defines their defensive and offensive rankings. NE is 27th on defense and 17th on offense. I recall them being much stronger..The Lions are also ranked 1st overall..
