It just seems like a dumb comment, going from the worst team in the league to Super Bowl bound has never been done in two seasons.good point.
how many first overall picks go to the superbowl and how long does it usually take them to get there if they do at all?

"He'd never thought he would be in the Super Bowl before the number 1 pick."
Is Kaepernick retarded? The Number one pick usually goes to a team that is COMPLETELY rebuilding, that's why we were awarded the number one pick -- because we were/are terrible.
Like Big Syke said: I think that means he knows how much better Cam is/was when they roomed.
That's what he probably means.
He was at those damn combines with him, and saw his undefeated Auburn season on TV. LOL

all those guys know they are in better situations(coaches,gm,defense) then cam.
just like big ben came out and won with the steelers...kap was on a super bowl ready team.

Now that I got that out of the way, I didnt like the comments if taken by them self or out of context. The truth is that the question he was asked was likely designed to give specifically that response. That being the case I think he could have said a lot worse, sooo w/e.

Colin does it for charity. Cam does it for kids/charity. The parallels between the two are immense. And i think they both respect and admire each others game. It woud be really cool to see them both get together to do a charity/ commercial together

How long have you been following the Panthers?

Those in the media are desparately trying to make it appear as if Luck and Cam were in the same boat being drafted at number one. But truth be told, the Colts were a much better team than their 2011 season showed. The Panthers are a team like the Colts when Peyton was a rookie. They are seriously learning how to win and enjoy winning. I believe the Panthers will get to the SB with Cam. The question you folks need to ask yourselves is, are you willing to be patient and let your team remember what it's like to run and be competitive again, so to speak.
In all honesty, I love Colin. When I see him, it makes me realize how hypocritical the media are with Cam. That kid makes Cam look like he wears suits to practice. Colin is so laid-back and with the guy from the neighborhood attitude.

Exactly if he robbed a bank or committed any crime he would be listed as black in the police records. All black Americans are mixed......most black Americans are anywhere from 10 to 20 percent white genetically on avg. With the majority of those folks having a white male great great grand parent.Until he gets locked up next week after the super bowl then he is fully black. Plus, not many pure black people left in America other than first generation Africans. oh...you mean the skin tone. My bad! Carry on!

Wait.... What Kaep. is black? The last time I looked. He look like he has some Indian in him or part mexican. But black he is not. He has a tan look to his skin. That is it.If anything Kap should be applauded for proving a QB like Cam can get to a Super Bowl. Imagine if he wins it, he'd be the first black QB to win a Super Bowl since Doug Williams over 25 years ago. I'm happy for Colin and hope he plays well although I got Baltimore winning it.
