Hands down, without a doubt. James Brown for me. My dad saw him summer of 72 or 73. Blew his mind in his young radio dj days.

The Doors. Come on.
Beatles
Sly and the Family Stone
Al Green
So many.

BB King

saw him in '08 at Bonnaroo, and despite the fact that he couldn't get out of his (sweet) chair/throne, he still put on an amazing show

the mayor of manchester, tn came out and gave him a key to the city before his set started. thought that was pretty cool too

I'm very happy that I've had the opportunity to see just about all of 'em but one.

I saw James Brown at Bonnaroo 2003. I know he was getting up there in age but he absolutely killed it and had the huge crowd in the palm of his hand. It was his birthday and they had the audience sing happy birthday to him. He seemed genuinely touched by it.

Artists I wish I could go back see:

Led Zeppelin
Hendrix
The Doors
Bob Marley
Grateful Dead in their prime
Radiohead (still have a chance for this one)
