the things i learned about various races and people while working in the "rent to own" industry right out of high school are invaluable.

it flipped some stereotypes inside out and made others all the more obvious.

usually, those that comment the most about racial issues are the ones that don't have enough perspective or breadth of friendships with those from another race.

kinda like the guy who always talks about the war. those were the guys who peeled potatos. the guys who DON'T talk, now those are the guys who saw/did some stuff.

sweet anecdote now stop shitting up every thread that deals with racism with this dumb bullshit about how the only people who truly know anything are the ones that won't "comment" on it

on the other hand you seem to comment on the economy a lot and let's face it you don't really seem to have a fuging clue so maybe there is some truth to your dumb theory after all

For the bike video, i wouldnt say anything. what thief has all sorts of tools with him to steal a bike? lol People conducting these studies have obviously never stole anything lol

The original video is dumb too, like someone else said there is no evidence of time and how many people passed by while vandalism occurred. Plus when the black kids were vandalizing why were there no white kids sleeping in a car? ugh lol

though these videos aren't scientific, there are a wealth of studies and data that suggest that black people are in fact treated differently by the justice system. i mean you can all sit here and try to poke holes in a dumb news story and pretend like that negates the fact that (surprise!) black people are profiled by police, convicted at disproportionate rates, and given disproportionately longer sentences, OR you can at least pretend like you guys have spent more than 10 minutes thinking about how fuging shitty america can be, and has been, toward minorities

A mass exodus of African Americas back to Africa will happen in the next..ehh call it 100 years. Marcus Garvery 2.0 will hit the mainstream sometime this century, and this won't be a problem anymore.

Wait, you are saying racism is alive and well?

Stop the presses!

One thing I notice is that when kids are raised in a 2 parent home of any race or creed, chances are those kids will do well. When a mom is struggling to raise kids by herself things can go wrong very easily. There will never be enough money for enough social workers, teachers, police, etc to replace an absentee parent.

Look at the 2005 cencus data...

Single Parent Family Statistics by Race

From the US Census Bureau 2005 Data

  • 50% of African American children live in single parent families headed by the mother
  • 25% of Hispanic kids live with a single mother
  • 16% of non-Hispanic white children reside with a single mom
  • 10% of Asian kids live with a single mother
  • 4-5% of children of all races live with a single father

Now couple that information with the fact that kids from fatherless homes are 80% more likely to be in trouble with the law.

Look at that data think think about how rare it is to see an asian youth in trouble. I have shot Vietnamese weddings and the family bond they have puts the rest of us to shame. Its really amazing to see.

Here's my 2 cents.

A white guy goes into the hood and does some stupid poo like that will more than likely get beat up and/ or shot.

A black guy goes into a trailer park and does some stupid pop like that will more than likely get beat up and/ or shot.

Fair enough Bait Zula?

    • You do realize no one wanted RyanCare/ObamaCare Lite to pass, right? If anything, the media and democrats has made themselves absolute fools lately. STILL no evidence Trump colluded with Russia whatsoever, which is quite the funny irony in this whole conspiracy. Trump inherited a mess. Hard to fix this mess when you got crybaby globalists and dems everywhere.
    • I hate this DG analogy so much.  It only makes sense in the context of an efficient market where teams are rational, have perfect information, and scouts are always right about players.  But we have ample evidence that is not the case.  Sometimes, talented players just don't work out.  Injuries derail careers.  Teams make oddball picks.  Sometimes, you are just wrong about a player (see Ealy, Kony). I like him a lot, but DG's habit of always trading up / never trading down may ultimately be his downfall in CAR.  It results in a lack of depth across the roster and it makes your roster very vulnerable to i) injuries (see 2015 vs. 2016) and ii) missing on evals.  If we missed on Funchess (jury still out), that hurts - but missing on Funchess when you traded multiple picks to get him compounds the issue. Trading up and trading down are both valid strategies - but I'd suggest balancing the two strategies would improve your chances of long-term success.
    • He is worth #8 pick. I'd like to see him next to Newton on the field.
