You should open your mind to new ideas.
Stereotyping a group as silly isn't a very nice thing to do.
I think you might be a little bit of a classist.

He is right, when viewed from a very specific lens of what "liberal" and "conservative" mean.

Which is a funny thing to bring up given this thread's new title.

I didn't think many self-respecting libertarians identified themselves as fiscally conservative socially liberal, since, oh about 1997 in the height of the clinton years anyway.

The two words have been watered down so much over the years in the controlling parties' attempts to grow their tents that they have little actual meaning anymore. Seems like I made a thread about that very subject several years ago... *searches forums in a frenzy*
