Sure football is a team sport, and Flacco has benefited from some very good defense in his time with the Ravens, but in my eyes, he plays his best in the biggest moments. As a starting QB in the NFL, Flacco is 9-4 in the playoffs. There are exactly 8 QBs in the history of the NFL with more playoff wins, and Flacco is just 28 years old. He has an elite level of poise and confidence when the pressure mounts, and that is most certainly worth a great deal when you can make all the throws/ reads.
I think Flacco's perceived worth is undermined in large part by his personality, or lack thereof. If Flacco were on the open market (and we didn't already have our wagon tied to Cam), I would love to see him in Panther colors.

He earned to be the highest paid QB. Baltimore should've have him a new contract last year if they were smart. Ravens won the SB all bc if Flacco.

But paying Flacco more than Aaron Rodgers, Tom Brady, Drew Brees and both of the Mannings? I'd balk at that.

Here's a question....you guys are all ready to hand Cam a monster contract yet your hesitant about Flacco getting one. What exactly has Cam done to prove he should get a top 5 contract? Has he been consistent enough? I don't think so.
Who said that Cam deserved a top 5 contract?
