I would only sign him if he checks off medically(Ron Edwards), but if he does than im praying we do, it would give us a pass at drafting a DLineman high for this year at least

we'll probably hold off a little while though i think we should be jumping on this. we could get a bargain if we act quickly. i think we could sign him for cheap and the giants would still have to pay guaranteed money, right?

Not sure, but it wouldn't matter for Canty as he's got 4+ years of experience and immediately becomes an unrestricted FA

still he could be signed for cheaper than his remaining deal and the giants pick up the rest, right?

Not a cap guy, but I think the Giants are released from any obligations to him except for whatever portion of guaranteed money he was due that hadn't been paid yet.
