Ball security drills or having him carry a football around all day everyday and having random people try to come punch it out at random times

I don't think that his hands are so bad, but I think that it's about absorbing contact during special teams. People are coming at you with crazy speed and he's small. But he does need to improve holding the ball closer and higher when fighting for extra yards.

Maybe just hit the weight room a little bit. He doesn't have to add a lot of size, but just enough that I'm not scared of him dying every time he gets hit.

They tried that with Goodson then traded him when it didn't work. It's a goof and the only way it could possibly improve someone is through embarrassment. And most people don't improve by being embarrassed.

i remember hearing that one of the reasons he was benched was that rivera didn't like his side to side and scrambling stuff, that he wanted more north/south running. my thought is if you watched joe adams tape at all you know you're going to get scrambling.

Um, I think his problem is CATCHING the balls as they descend from the air. I don't know if he has the fumbles like AP did a couple of years back.

Install some sort of shock device around him and have him carry the ball for the next 7 months and every time he drops it he gets shocked.

AP used the weighted footballs during practice. I'd never seen that used before.

IMO he just needs to buy a JUGS machine to simulate punts and kicks and catch 200 balls a day.

An uncharacteristically juvenile response from Mr. Scot? I love it!

    • Funny, but the thing I noticed was that he considered himself a fullback---(The Panthers are one of the few teams that used a FB...) when he had never played.  I am sure the Panthers told him that, but I wondered if that was HIS intent. I think this is another "Swiss Army knife" player.  He is a FB with TE experience.  Can he catch?  Can he slide out to a wing or even line up as a TE?  Throw him into an offense that has McCaffrey (who can catch passes) and Samuel (who can run the ball) and these three players are capable of lining up as TE/RB/WR, FB/WR/WR, TE/RB/RB, etc. I am not suggesting that he is going to line up as a TE as Olsen does, but Brockel or even Dickson Hbacking could be in the cards for him.
    • He has fumbled one single time. I don't think he's a lock. However if Fozzie is expendable then of the current guys I suppose he makes it.
