Battle of Los Angeles?

I am really starting to think a second civil war is brewing, and this is leading into it.

That's a pretty big stretch.

A more realistic concern is how many people will get mistaken for this guy by some yahoo looking to make a million dollar bounty.

I was just thinking that after being shot at for being mistaken for the real culprit would result in return fire, and an eventual escalation of force.

Friends, family, etc may take up in arms and start bigger fights than anticipated.

The use of drones was later confirmed by Customs and Border Patrol spokesman Ralph DeSio, who revealed agents have been prepared for Dorner to make a dash for the Mexican border since his rampage began.

He said: “This agency has been at the forefront of domestic use of drones by law enforcement. That’s all I can say at the moment.”

I told you it was just in time for the new drone test drive. HaHa

Is Venom on spring break or something? He should have been all over this.

The idiot Mayor of Los Angeles Villairagosa, just held a press conference offering a cool million in tax dollars reward for help in capturing the perp.

Apparently his incompetent police force cant get it done.

http://latimesblogs....-of-dorner.html

considering the amount of resources being used in this search, if a $1 million reward could end the search even just one day sooner it would probably save the city money

there are plenty of things to be mad about here but the reward money is a p silly thing to worry about

You do realize that they offer rewards all the time for assistance in capturing fugitives.

LAPD "Crippled" by Dorner Search

_______________________________________________________

So what happens if you're the victim of a crime?

A citywide tactical alert can get officers to you if you're in jeopardy.

But commanders say officers may not respond to "smaller" crimes, and you should consider reporting them to your local police station in person.

Neiman said an example of a crime to report in person is "your house is broken into, there's no threat of somebody there now, there's no imminent threat to somebody's safety."

Classic. Sorry all our cops are detained and sorry your house was broken into. We are sure you will be fine. Just walk down to your local PD and take a number.

You do realize this is the largest ever?

The Feds think he's enjoying the sunshine in Mexico now anyways.

This story may have no ending.

A reward that large is nothing but an open invitation to any gun toting vigilante who has the money for a plane ticket.
