Does not make sense that someone "in" the system has no confidence that absentee ballots would count. Why go that route in the first place if you have the opportunity to make sure your vote counts by doing it in person as she did later on.

We have a broken system for sure.

absentee ballots aren't usually counted... still doesn't make sense though... but this person is probably an idiot.

Sure it is, but it would take some work, and I doubt many people would be willing to make the effort to beat it. Heck, its hard enough to get many voters to vote even once.

Been saying this

http://lawsonry.com/2012/09/republican-staffers-charged-with-36-counts-of-election-fraud.html

This incident perfectly highlights the dirty little secret about election fraud. Election fraud overwhelmingly happens on the campaign side, not the voter side. It’s far easier – and more rewarding – to cheat while working from within the system than it is to commit in-person voter fraud. The GOP is legislating against cases of voter fraud in which a person would have to give someone else’s name at the correct polling place in order to falsely vote once; meanwhile a Republican Congressman and his staff fabricated 1,756 signatures so that he could run illegally.

Of course it is when you understand the gaps in institutional control.

The signature issues are really no different than the voter registration issues where OFA/ACORN/etc turn thousands of registrations in on the final days knowing full well that it's impossible for the county boards of elections cannot possibly verify all of them in that time. That's why democrats push for same day registration efforts...even on voting days. No way anyone is going to take the time to actually do the work required and overturn an election. Unless it's felon votes needed to get Franken in.

If they don't bust everyone's azz over this type stuff, inside, outside, Dem and Pub, nobody is going to give a crap about voting in the future. It will become a laugher to even think you can make a difference. Just get someone from the inside to vote for all the folks not showing up and say "they gave me permission to vote for them"

Make it loud and clear that any crap from anywhere will not be tolerated.
