Not a thread about this years inductees.
I am just thinking Nascar should have went with 3 per year and not 5. At this rate, every driver will be in the HOF in about 10 years. Joking a bit, but 5 per year is too many with guys who drive for 30 years.
Same 40 guys for 20 years whereas football has 50 guys per team and 32 teams. Many to choose from

Maybe they will narrow it down in a few years ..but i think its good to get the old school drivers(and owners /crewmen) in while they are still alive so they can be there for their induction..
I love the fact cotton owens got in and he was alive long enough to know about it..hate the fact he didnt get to wear the ring or jacket

They probably should have structured it like 2 drivers per year and one owner or crewchief or promoter.
In 10 years alone, that would be 20 drivers. That alone is about all I think should be in the HOF. 5 per is going to quickly be overkill

They'll probably slow it down once there are a few more drivers there. At least that way there is more to visit and take in at the Hall Of Fame.
