2013 Blizzard Nemo Seymour, Connecticut Pictures (34 inches)

Walked around today with my camera snapped a few pics. Roads were still shut down for all of Connecticut aside of plow trucks and state vehicles. Didn't lose power and got through it fine. Getting some of these pics sucked though since Only the main roads were plowed. Walking in 3 feet of snow isn't ideal.

By the way this "no file over 6mb upload rule" is killing me. It seems like all the good ones are over 6mb. If anyone else wants more pics lets me know. Have plenty.

all that snow looks so pretty right now, but Monday it will be a grey slushy mess rusting the crap out of your car, then freezing, making you slip and break your back, that is whatever back you have left after shoveling and cleaning off your car.

Screw that, left 20 years ago and have no illusions about it anymore.

Cool story bro. Tell you what, if you have a little more free time would you mind telling it again?

I was just busting your balls. I like Connecticut but don't see myself staying here much longer. The weather isn't so much the issue, but more of how expensive it is. I like my little taste of all four seasons. However, the poo they put on the roads is horrible.

Grew up in Western Mass, lived for 5 years near Boston, got to HATE the long winters. Here in NC we have seasons, lately not much snow though. I remember in 1982 we had a blizzard with 5 foot drifts....in April. Walking along icy streets with my toolbag in Boston, trying to get home from Maine in snowstorms, the freezing and refreezing of the roads...I love the way the new snow looks but it doesn't last. I was up there a couple of weeks ago right after a smaller snowfall and hated how the cold made even small trips a real PITA. As a kid I didn't mind it nearly as much. My sister and her husband are avid snowmobilers but man thats an expensive and COLD hobby.
