But guys, you can't touch a ref, remember? That's what people said when Cam had his incident. But since this wasn't Cam, he just "lost his cool"

It's the same reason District Attorney's go after celebrities.the bigger the fish, the bigger the splash. Goodell loves his power to punish who he wants, when he wants. In this situation it was a small fish and bad pub for the league. Why have it on a constant loop on espn for the next 3 days until some baseball player gets caught with roids.

Bogers crew cannot keep a game under control if the two games I've watche him officiate this past season are any indicator. What a joke.

It's the superbowl. If I was the coach if be pissed if my players weren't fighting for it. I also liked the way he and his team refed this one. They let the players decide this game. Great job to them

Are you saying Cam didn't deserve that fine? You can't be serious. Players are not supposed to influence the refs' decision-making by scaring the sh*t out of them. Getting in the face of refs and intimidating them because the penalties you want aren't being called is just crossing the line. What Cam did was immature, disrespectful, and unsportsmanlike. Williams just lost his cool in the biggest game and did something stupid. While I think both of these players deserve fines, what they did were two completely different things.

And he didn't push the ref to the ground:

That push look pretty bad in your gif. Wow! You can't do that to anyone, especially authority figures. Just, wow!

Since when can a player touch an official for ANY reason.

There is absolutely zero, nada, zilch excuse that is justifiable for this action by any player.

The NFL needs to start enforcing ejections or this won't be pretty.

Wow, are you mad or what? Don't trip over your own feet explaining yourself there pal.

So you are saying Cam is a thug who shanked a ref on the field, but the other guy is an angel?

I hope you were drunk posting last night. Thanks for the laugh though.

Cook was allegedly involved in an incident with a woman on June 23 outside of a Tallahassee bar, Clydes & Costellos, according to a heavily redacted incident report obtained by the Sentinel. The woman, according to a separate probable cause affidavit compiled by the Tallahassee Police Department, had bruises and abrasions after refusing to give her phone number or go home with an FSU football player. A probable cause affidavit stated one unidentified man approached the woman for her phone number and spoke about taking her home with him. She declined, stating she had a boyfriend. The man and a group of friends identified as five to seven FSU football players, including Cook, began to get into a heated argument with her. She told investigators a person got too close to her and she pushed him away, prompting a man she later identified as Cook to punch her multiple times in the face http://www.orlandosentinel.com/sports/florida-state-seminoles/os-fsu-dalvin-cook-accused-battery-20150710-story.html
    • And you can find a Terek Hill or Gaberial type in later rounds ..  IF i get a RB i want a 20 to 25 carry guy that can run inside and out.. Catching the ball is gravy but the most important part is being able to carry the load and kill the clock in the 4th qrt..
