We all know Cam is one hell of a quarterback. Let's fave it Rivera ain't poo. We don't have to be NFL insiders to figure that one out. Cam gets bashed constantly. Hmmmm, Cam not making plays? Who is not putting him in the correct position to get the stardom who should have? Russel Wilson is a good example, when you put talent around someone they soar. So please draft a WR. Get some lineman and another tight end. Defense don't win anything in this league any longer.

Stop worrying about what outsiders are saying about Cam and start worrying about who we can surround Cam with. Ron isnt destroying Cam's image, he just isnt helping it.

Um, Russell Wilson has the underdog role going for him....

You could easily argue Cam Newton was the most scrutinized player to ever enter the NFL.....

That is why it is what it is...

Two teams that went to the SuperBowl are known as "Defensive Teams"... The two teams that went to the SuperBowl ran the ball more than they passed... I wouldn't exactly say "Defense don't win anything in this league any longer"

Plus Russel Wilson is on a defensive team.. So that makes no sense he doesn't have a star WR either

You're still whining about Rivera? Did he go down on your girl or something? And seriously... defense doesn't win anything? Did you watch us play Tampa bay at home this year? We stop them that last drive and we win the game.

I wasn't happy Rivera was retained, but if you want to blame the failure to surround Cam with sufficient talent on someone, blame it on Marty Hurney. He's the guy who assembled this roster - and who brought Rivera on board. Hurney is the architect of the poo show that is currently the Carolina Panthers. Hopefully Gettleman can fix it.
