Is anybody else like me and still want to see 89, 12, and 11 on the field together with Cam?

I dreamed about this last offseason and it never happen. Maybe it never will.

Most of the Huddle has given up on Gettis. I haven't.

I was really hoping we would see him on the field this year since he suited up... Don't know if he was still injured or if he's in Rivera's doghouse.

If he can come back healthy I really look forward to what he can do next season!

i'm done assuming gettis will ever be anything other than a paper star, and it appears the coaching staff concurs.

Dude maybe I'm just being overly sentimental for something I thought would be a unstoppable combination. But I just wanted to see 1 game where Lafell and Gettis line up on the outside and Steve in the slot. With Olsen at TE and Cam at QB. Just 1 game to see how that would look.

If true then maybe it won't happen but I still wanted to see at least 1 time if that would work.

LaFell's number is 11
Gettis' number is 12

I thought we really had something in Gettis his rookie season. I'm not sure if that torn ACL ruined him or he just got fat and happy cashing NFL checks for nothing. Either way, seems like Gettis is done. I think LaFell can be a decent #2, but we need a successor to Smitty. We most certainly do not have that guy on our roster currently.

Most huddlers laugh at his rookie production. But for a 6th round pick to have those numbers with Jimmy Clausen/Matt Moore/Brian St. Pierre throwing you the ball. I find that down right impressive. That's just me though.

i don't really dream about gettis on the field with cam

dreams are for thinking about things of which the chances of happening in real life are improbable or nearly impossible, like wanting to see calvin johnson on the field with cam

I don't know about that... People thought TD was done and needed to retire and the coaching staff gave him another shot and he made a HUGE impact

Where as on the other hand we had Brandon Hogan who the coaching staff saw no progress and cut him. So I think if they didn't see anything with Gettis they would've done the same

Let's hope he'll be able to impress in training camp.

It makes me sick for you people to sit at home on your couch and have the audacity to question another man's heart. How many training camps did you attend this past season? If you would have been in attendance you would have noticed a young man named David Gettis working out on that sideline everyday with a trainer trying to get back.
