Text or even Snapchat over calling. I'll call somebody if I need a question answered right then obviously, but I could care less about the awkward silences or random babbling that comes from a phone call. I can multitask much easier while texting as well.

In all seriousness though, I don't know how many unneccessary arguments I have gotten in because someone takes a text the completely wrong way. Texting takes all emotion and tone out of what you are trying to say and it can cause problems. I don't care if you do put some stupid smiley face at the end.

That's why I say just send naked pics...no words needed.

See the bad thing is that if you have my number and ever contact me, I will then have your number. Not sure you want that unless you like to be woken up at 3am with random pictures of smiley faces drawn on my ball sack being sent to you.

Texting (and to an extent emailing) are perfect for quick dissemination of information. What I hate is entire conversations that are done via text over an hour plus when it can be finished and me off to doing something else if we just had a 5 minute phone conversation.

That goes doubly at work with email.
