Hey we all make mistakes in life, I hope the guy truely gets himself on track.

Those who complain about KT baiting sure do enough of it themselves. Fight ignorance with ignorance, sounds legit.

Wow...amazing how the insults rain down endlessly on VY and Jamarcus Russel. Yet when Ryan Leaf finally went to jail after the millionth time of fugging up, not much insult was thrown his way. As a matter of fact, the thread barely went to two pages. Gee I wonder why it's so much easier to trash those two QBs and their issues and not Ryan? A man who literally threw away his career, money, and life on drugs and showing the world that he enjoys being irresponsible by blaming the world for his issues.

Everything that folks are mocking Jamarcus and Vince for happened in the past. How old is Ryan Leaf and he's still fugging up and no one is mocking him for it?

Amazing how easy it is to mock other people's kids and not out own. Just saying.

It's possible, but I wouldn't bet on it.

As you probably know, there are some people in the world who "just don't get it" (and likely never will). Four of said folk have been mentioned in this thread: Vince Young, Titus Young, JaMarcus Russell and Ryan Leaf.

Each one had the unfortunate combo of world class physical talent in their bodies but faulty wiring upstairs. Whether it was inability to control their emotions, poor work ethic, just plain immaturity or whatever, they just didn't have what it takes. I could also throw in Jeff George as another prime example in that same mold.

Some guys just never grow up, and it's always a shame. When that much talent has such great opportunity and for whatever reason it all winds up going to waste, it's tragic.

Sadly, it's also fairly common.

Funny that VY and JR gets mentioned folks run to the silly media created images created for them. U know the typical racial stereotyping of lacking in "intelligence" and "laziness." Not so with Leaf, who to this day, can't get his life together and have done more distruction to his football career than VY and JR combined. But we won't deal with that reality. We'll just keep mocking VY and JR everytime their name is mentioned with whatever stereotypical images the media reated of them while they were in the NFL because that must make u feel good.

And, unlike many of u, I much rather wish all these athletes, who didn't quite get it right when they were younger, all the best as adults, and that includes Ryan Leaf. I hope he gets his act together someday. There is a kid out there who can learn from all of these QBs who had their dreams in their hands and threw them away.

Not knowing you personally, I dont really know if you're stupid. I can, however, confidently state that better than 90% of what you post on this forum is quite stupid. Sometimes I wonder if your screen name is also the sum total of what you actually know about the game.

in hindsight, perhaps...and if that's the way it was taken, then I apologize to you, the op and anyone that was offended. I was trying to refer to the same post that Mr. Scot was talking about someone thinking Vince was going straight to the hall of fame etc.
