This is why I have a no pet rule in my house. I'd rather spend $500 on gas for the pontoon boat I'm buying this spring.

Chief- My Ball.jpg 618.49K
15 downloadsChief is my 2-year old best friend. We had a canine DNA test done and his grandparents were a Dobie and St. Bernard on one side and a Rottie and Husky on the other. He has one blue eye and one brown. He gets to run either the front or back nine of our golf course every morning and he weighs in at 100lbs.
Truck vs. Chief.jpg 239.08K
16 downloadsThis is Chief at 1 year old 3 days before Christmas 2011 after being run over and spit out the underside of a Chevy 1500 Silverado. He ran 1/4 mile after being run over, totally in shock and my wife found him in the woods, snatched him up and raced to our vet. The surgery in Greensboro installed a rod down the length of his femur, couple plates and 8 screws. There are about 43 staples down his leg. He was only about 50lbs when this happened and we had to keep him quiet and he couldn't run for 3 months before the rod was taken out. Today you could never know he was ever hurt and we own a wing of the Greensboro Veterinary Hospital. But he was worth every penny.
We don't have kids, so he's everything to me. There;s nothing better than coming home to see him every night after work.

My parents have a husky. Kid is temperamental as hell...
Yes my dear god he is. If i had to relate it to anything they're like the teenagers of dogs.

Yep, they don't like anyone touching their poo either, be it food or toys. Actually, my parents husky guards toilet paper every now and then...

Chico and Fred Boy. Fred is gone now, but he was a great dog. Chico hates everyone except me and Chris. He doesn't even like the kids. He sleeps on the bed with us and has to be up under my butt. He also likes to lick my toes.

This is probably why Chico doesn't like my daughter very much.
