According to Yas...

http://espn.go.com/b...kalils-contract

"Kalil was given a $5 million signing bonus, but his base salary was dropped from $4.75 million to $750,000. His cap figured dropped from $8.6 million to $6.4 million."

Well according to Yas it's around 11 mill right now

Cutting Gamble will free a good deal of that.

Yas says that we have 131 million committed...cap is expecting to be a little over 120 million.

But remember, cutting Gamble will save us a ton.

As of now, if we cut Gamble, Ron, Hang'man, and Gary Williams, we should be under without even doing anything with our RBs, LBs, or Gross.

Understand this moves Cap troubles backwards.
They turn Salary into bonus cash. Basically if you restructure you are getting paid up front. At least thats how it happens often.

They can also turn contracts into incentive based where salary is paid off of playtime triggers and what not-> Thomas Davis's last deal and the restructure had lots of this.
