Do you feel that Washington is representing your views well?

How about 8 years ago?

I certainly don't now, and I certainly didn't then.

Delhommey can't fathom being wrong on any count. Good luck reasoning with that.

Jeez... Every time I answer these mouth breathers, I get this irrational fear that stupid is contagious. It's spreading like a contagion.

Your own personal views not being pushed doesn't mean you don't have representation. You do. In fact we have a whole house of them. The House of.... Representationers, or something.

Yes we have them, I never argued that.

I asked if he felt that he was being represented well.

Fwiw, I live in the 12th district, which the democrats dominate, so my views certainly aren't well represented. Its the price of living a republic I guess.

Yes. You think the government should be run like your check book.

I hope with the most sincere of hopes that never comes true.

Jokes on you big fella. I don't have a check book.

In all seriousness, great then. If you feel like Washington is doing a great job, then good for you.

I personally don't.

Honestly though. A balanced budget and massive cuts to spending, paying off our debts, and lowering taxes on the middle class does have a nice ring to it.

If government were actually run like anyone's checkbook, they'd be in prison for counterfeiting dozens of times over. No, government is run more like living off of someone else's credit card.
