Again, as Miami's football program continues to become a laughing stock, expect more UM basketball fans.

Miami fans support whichever of their sports teams are doing the best. Can't fault em for paying for product.

so miami has come to the acc as a supposed powerhouse football program, never done a single thing in this conference in football. now a surprise basketball season and now they own teams that have won every year? you can tell who the new or bandwagon fans are. you have about a dozen acc championships and a few national championships to get noticed before anyone takes this program halfway seriously.

Miami's going to have to at least make the final four to be remotely relevant in basketball. Plenty of teams have had great seasons and fizzled in the tourney.

While that's true, a final four is the step in the right direction. I kind of like Miami's team, they have a bunch of veterans and play smart. The real test comes in the next few years to see what they can do with the success of this year. And by success, I mean winning the ACC, since that is pretty much a wrap at this point barring some catastrophe.

Would still like to see them make a final four. Other than dook and Miami I don't see any other ACC teams making the final four this year. NC State has a shot I suppose but they are much too erratic. UNC would have to have nothing short of a miracle to even sniff the final four this year. We are playing better with the smaller lineup but I don't see that lineup beating teams with dominant front lines (unless we can get hot from 3)
