As some of you know Mrs Zod and I are expecting a baby girl in June. This means my old home office is now the nursery, so the garage needed to be my office. I am pretty happy with the results.

Went with a mini split HVAC heat pump, keeps it nice and warm and has its own thermostat.

Very nice, we are in the middle of putting down floors in our house. Where'd you put all your crap after you were finished?

About 6 payloads to the dump, the rest in a 12x14 shed I had built

External view. Some of our neighbors don't have the brick skirt on the bottom, It was a couple hundred more to get them in but looks nicer I think .

I would have happily taken those cabinets off your hands. Need some for my workshop.

I would have happily let you come and get them. I junked them.

Looks great. I want to get flooring like that installed in my place. What kind of price per square foot would I be looking at?

I got bamboo floors for around $3.89 a sqft at Lumber Liquidators ...they're beautiful

We got laminate at LL for 2.49/sf. I liked the bamboo but the boss didn't like the colors :)

They have an installer that is around $2/sf additional.

beware that bamboo is soft if you have pets or women who like to wear heels.

As it is, I put brand new maple floors (maple is harder than oak) down in my house and my dog has scratched them all to hell.

is that what they told you so you went with something else??

I've had my floors for 5 years now..the kitchen has a few dings here and there..from me dropping sh*t on it..but other than that they're great...with cats and a dog it's fine..and I wear heels all the time
