The fact that nearly every reply makes some type of reference to her looks/sex/"id bang her"/typical classless comments clearly demonstrates that even if she were the best kicking prospect out there in regards to ability...the general public would accept her as nothing more than a sex symbol/sideshow attraction.

Pretty sad many here are husbands and fathers...yet still seem to think a woman (especially one who actually works at a sport) cannot be viewed as an athlete (regardless if she is NFL quality) and instead as a mere sex symbol

I'm playing in a fairly competitve co-ed indoor soccer league right now. It's usually like one or two women per team. These ladies can play some soccer, but even at this amateur level the men have an overwhelming physical advantage over the females.

No way a woman ever plays in the NFL. It's not safe. I don't want the first person to die on a NFL field to be someones mother.

I question her ability to be an effective tackler, but I'm not so sure she'd actually be in danger.

My guess is any guy who hit her too hard would probably face wrath from not only her teammates, but probably some of his own for decking a woman.

I would have no problem with a female kicker in the NFL, but what happens on a bad snap?

I guess you would instruct the holder to not pitch the ball to the kicker on a bad snap under any circumstances, but that could put you at a competitive disadvantage.

If the female kicker did end up with the ball on a bad snap, God help her...
