According to Walter:

Forcing Fumbles:
NFL prototype: Charles Johnson, Panthers

  • Damontre Moore
  • Alex Okafor
  • Barkevious Mingo
  • Dion Jordan
  • Bjoern Werner
  • Sam Montgomery
  • Margus Hunt
  • Ezekiel Ansah

Thought it was nice he got some impartial recognition.

Barkevious Mingo has to have some of the worst stats I've ever seen for a guy who seems so highly regarded as a prospect. That and he's only 6-4, 240?

Vernon Gholston comes to mind.

I love CJ and Hardy both, because there's no finesse to their game. Nothing but straight power moves. Reminds me of how Michael Strahan was.

Hardy caught a lot of flak from folks on here when he spent all offseason last year bulking up to ~300 lbs.

Then he has his best year as a pro. fug some finesse moves, just outmuscle the man in front of you Kraken!

For the first time in a long time I'm not worried about our DEs and our pass rush. I am confident CJ, Hardy, and Alexander will blossom into a great trio this next season. I'm hoping we add a big body in the middle in the first our second round this year and we can run packages on passing downs getting 4 good pushers on the field at once.

Agreed. My biggest concern is being able to pay Hardy long term.

Drafting Alexander was a great move. Early in the year, it looked like he was pushing to take Hardy's starting spot and that lit a fire under the Kracken's ass.

Mingo can definitely play.. he has the atleticism of a DB and the size of a LB

Kind of like what they were saying about Gholston. Sorry, the stats just don't back the hype. I wouldn't touch a workout warrior in the top half of the first.

I don't think people were afraid of him adding a few pounds of muscle. They didn't want that muscle to come at the detriment of his speed. It did seem to work out nicely though.

I was calling for Alexander to replace him in the starting lineup. Alexander was playing better than Hardy early on, then the Kracken exploded.
