Bobcats General Manager Rod Higgins said they'll make a qualifying offer to Point Guard Raymond Felton, an impending restricted free agent, by the June 30th deadline. Rod Higgins said they still haven't decided whether to do the same for Power Forward Sean May, who has battled weight and injury issues throughout his NBA career.
Felton to get qualifying offer. Sean May???

May is not worth the 3.7 million QO.
However there are several teams that would be willing to sign him to a one year deal for less than half that if he passes a physical. If the Bobcats want to take one more chance on him, he will probably cost about 1.75 - 2 million. I don't really care either way.

I say get rid of him. I think that the Bobcats can find a replacement for him easily in the upcoming draft or FA.

Lowest ticket prices in the NBA and Johnson actually tries to resign our players and doesn't let them all walk like Shinn did. The Hornets had to make trades every three years because our owner was cheap... LJ gone, Zo gone, Rice gone, Eddie gone, etc. It never ended.
Can somebody explain to me why I'm suppose to HATE Bob Johnson? Confused...
