Asomugha and Devin Hester on bubble to be cut, per NFL.com

The idea is that one or the other are potential cuts - so they are both listed - not that they are BOTH expected to be cut.

I got that idea. But, I was curious why we would contemplate cutting both of those guys in the first place? Beason is understandable, not so much Anderson.

One or the other is a likely cap casualty. It just depends on who we decide to keep/start. Our cap situation doesn't really lend to keeping both.

Totally understandable. I would keep Anderson, granted he doesn't have the leadership, athletic ability, or ability to get off a block like Beason. But, he doesn't get hurt as often.

Wasn't Hester talking about retirement earlier this year after Lovie Smith was fired? If he gets cut I doubt he'll want to uproot his family to go play for another team for what could possibly be just one year.

Asomugha- I'd take him here if he took a HUGE pay cut... He's play over the past two years hasn't been the best so it's possible but someone will over pay for him

Nnamdi is a man corner. Unless you are going to let him play man all game....he just isn't good.

Panthers should pass on Hester. I have a friend who tutored Devin while he was in college. She said, he can't read.

We wouldn't be asking him to recite literature....just be arguably the greatest return man in NFL history.

Well if that's all he's gonna be used for. But dont expect him to learn a playbook...

Not going to throw money at a ST player. Dno why he's the only WR able to wear a number in the 20s. He ain't no cb anymore.

And no for Aso. He doesn't love playing the game anymore. He was clearly one of the worst cb the last two years. Junk
