Offseason forecast for Panthers, per NFL.com

It basically states the obvious.

Names Rivera as a lame-duck head coach looking to be axed, says D-Will is as good as gone, says we need a new WR.

I just don't get why it says Louis Murphy was one of Cams favorite deep targets.

I think you linked to the mobile version, but it's kind of cool on the PC screen. Cam is giant.

I also hate the term "Lame Duck Head Coach" it used to mean a guy in the last year of his contract. Now it's used for every coach who could get fired which is about 25 of them every year.

Decent little blurb, but it doesn't mention Gamble and I don't think the Deangelo cap figure is correct.

My guess is that if Dwill wants to stay and is willing to take a salary inline with the league average is what he means. No way will DWill be here with his existing contract

Probably bc Murphy was almost the only guy he threw the deep vertical to

Not sure Smitty can get open on that anymore. His vet savy moves don't aid him much on that one vs other routes

Murphy was getting looks a lot more towards the end of the season. Interesting to see if he gets more of an opportunity next year.
