Sounds different than the Chicken Little speech he gave the other day.

"Balanced Approach" does not seem to exist in his world. Got his tax hike, but can't seem to find any government waste. Amazing

House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) said he got "98 percent" of what he wanted in the final deal to raise the debt ceiling.

"When you look at this final agreement that we came to with the White House, I got 98 percent of what I wanted. I'm pretty happy," Boehner said in an interview with CBS News on Monday evening.

He also said he expected to remain Speaker of the House.

Some political observers speculated Boehner's Speakership was on the line as he sought Republican support for a compromise agreement congressional leaders negotiated with the White House.

The measure passed the House Monday 269-161, with 174 Republicans backing the bill. Sixty-six Republicans voted against the plan.

What a joke.

Using fear to not cut anything from his precious government.

If the press would actually take their lips off the Presidents butt long enough to breath, the oxygen might help them report that all the mini dramas he promotes as press conferences/interviews are in the least horribly deceptive.

That's just moronic.

Obama's just a horrible liar...and what's sad is that everyone's fine with it. Clinton got a rough ride....this guy...lol...he's getting a mulligan for his mulligan it's looking like.

The thing you all don't seem to understand is that you are saying the same exact thing over and over and expecting people to take you seriously "this time",It's not going to happen, and it has nothing to do with "the media loving Obama",

The sequester was agreed upon as a political face saving measure by the Dems because the Republicans refused to do anything by their rules but they needed to show something, anything at all, to the public on the issue. The Republicans approved it because they thought they'd have their guy in the White House by now and have more leverage. The Republicans lost the bet. That's it.

The Pentagon has grounded its fleet of F-35 fighter jets, after discovering a cracked engine blade in one plane.
The problem was discovered during what the Pentagon called a routine inspection at Edwards Air Force Base, California, of an F-35A, the Air Force version of the sleek new plane. The Navy and the Marine Corps are buying other versions of the F-35, which is intended to replace older fighters like the Air Force F-16 and the Navy F/A-18.
The F-35 is the Pentagon's most expensive weapons program at a total estimated cost of nearly $400bn. The Pentagon envisions buying more than 2,400 F-35s, but some members of Congress are not happy with the price tag.
but let's blame people on food stamps for this manufactured crisis rather than wasteful defense spending and the same incredibly dumb people who thought that "not raising the debt ceiling" was some sort of real option

Not surprising.....Obama got the tax cuts with the perception that the spending cuts would be negotiated and come. Now he does not want the spending cut.

Guy is one of the most dishonest POS that has ever held the office of President....and that is saying something.

You realize that you and cookinwithgas are the exact same coin, just two different sides.

How much of that 2013 number is associated with the Iraqi war ? Continuing operations in Afganistan? How much to the Stimulus that W himself stood with that wacko Pelosi and signed ?

You guys are so fuging busy pointing fingers at each about why the house is burning down, while the arsonist (Fed Gov) pours gas on the fire.

I agree with you 100%.

GWB was an idiot and we are still paying for many of his bad decisions.

Obama is doing nothing to improve the situation and is just wanting to add more and more spending to the equation.

Difference between most Republicans and Democrats is....

Most Republicans know and admit that GWB was a huge mistake and an idiot.

Most Democrats refuse to see the damage that Obama is causing and continue to make excuses for him.

i swear the guy could go on a crime spree (killing thousands) and his supporters woudl find someway to spin it as a positive for him....and that it was somehow GWB's fault.
