Thats funny you mention Marquis Wilson because he was actually the wr I noticed that i thought could end up being a sleeper. He looked very crisp running his routes and looked like a natural ball catcher. He was really good at adjusting to the ball while it was in the air. Even though he has some character issues, I think he could possibly be a steal for usSwope looked good running, and I had high expectations for him going in, but I saw a lot of bobbles, a few drops, and some body catching when he ran his drills. Speed is almost a bad thing for some WRs at this time because they have been able to use it while others have to develop hands, routes, and intelligence to get to this level. I fully expected Swope to push himself into the second round conversation, but I think the scouts and coaches will see that he is a project. Nobody knows how good he will be--not me, not you, not even the guy.
I hope you are right though. I liked him in college. Woods (to me) looked smooth and sneaky fast.
I am not sure we draft a WR early.
What did you think of Wilson from Wash St and Mellett from Elon? Potential in the late rounds.

Oh Well.
He will go late second or third. No chance for us unless we trade back and pick up an extra pick
