Most of these goals have been surprise goals. Our D is aweful. Ellis is a good backup, the problem is we don't have a reliable starter. He made some great saves tonight, but Tampa has just had too many chances in our zone with surprise goals that he can't handle.

If we don't get healthy soon may just kiss the playoffs goodbye. No solid number one goalie. A make shift defense. Too many roster fillers and not enough good talent. Freaking sucks. That road trip is a distant memory now

Game was okay, the atmosphere was fun, the effort until the last 5 minutes or so was putrid. Defense played bad, offense was worse.

However I did have some great food, bought a nice jacket and stole a PNC traffic cone.

I tried to find some tickets for the game, but most of (if not all) multiple seat tickets were sold out.

On the Canes website, they are only single seat tix. Stub Hub is your best bet because their rates are lower than NHL Ticket Exchange. Most of the time I sit in the rafters for $15 but since pops was buying tonight, we sat on the glass.

Thought we actually played decently, it's just our bad moments were REALLY bad. Ellis couldn't be Superman the whole game this time, and with so many injuries, it's hard to overcome. We need to get healthy....but honestly, I don't want to lose Ryan Murphy when somebody comes back at d-man. He is playing out of his mind, on both ends of the ice. Set us up NUMEROUS times tonight with good scoring chances that didn't get converted off of his pass. Also cleared the net several times and gave Ellis a clear line of sight. Gonna suck to have to move him back down in a few days.

Gotta get healthy, that's all it is. Our first two lines gotta produce more. They're mostly healthy, save for Skinner. Couple days off should help us, but we need to reel off a few wins in a row.

If we get healthy, we will be fine. We have a lot of young talent, but they are inexperienced. That inexperience leads to being out of position and panicking occasionally. That poo happens with new guys. When we get healthy, we will be fine. We can absolutely compete for the top of our division.
