He did not run a 4.25. Not sure where you got that. He still ran fast but being fast doesn't make you a #14 overall pick. We'll let the Raiders take him.

Not saying Tavon is a can't miss prospect at #14 or anything but some of the people in this thread act like he was a nobody and just ran fast at the combine. His production was already there. His good performance is just cementing what draft pundits have been saying which is that he is a 1st round pick.

5'8 receiver? Not a chance we want to run a vertical passing game with Cam his height is not first round worthy not every short fast guy is SS.

His Vertical is only 32' a huge part of SS game is he plays bigger than he is because he has a 38-40 inch vertical.

If the Panthers don't take a WR in the 1st or 2nd this year I'll be very disappointed. Easily the most talented late 1st early 2nd group of WR's I've seen. Patterson is the only WR worthy of the #14 though.

Ryan Swope ran the same speed as Austin, is bigger, runs better routes, and is a good blocker...if we want a slot receiver he would be there in the 3rd if we trade down or something. Patton and Swope are my favorite receivers in the draft, hopefully we can get one of them.
