Fair is Fair.
or fixing congressional payraises to the inflation rate.
I like the idea of having term limits on politicians.....Although i dont think we will ever have anothe Jesse Helms or Strom Thurgood of staying in the senate 30 plus years...too much media nowadays....It creates a political pendulum.....back and forth to the right and the left
As long as its done by constitutional amendment.
hahahaha kings don't like term limits
It will never happen. Congressmen have way to much power to just let it go.
Interesting, lots of posts on CEO pay but little on term limits.
Can you say suckers?
I am all for max 8 years, and would probably rather have just 6.
And as for the President, I would love for them to not go through re election, and just have a standard 6 year term.
I'm really torn on the idea, although lately I am more for it - at least for Senators. Representatives have smaller groups of people to represent and I think that that has something to do with how I feel about it, but its complicated to me...as much as I'd like to get rid of this Nazi chick that Ballantyne will never stop voting in, she does seem to statistically represent the area pretty well.
How do you feel about a 6 year term limit on the Presidency?
