This Thread is why noting gets done in Congress. Same principles apply.

Some very good note-taking gets done on Capitol Hill.

Sorry, couldn't help myself.

Good night, folks, you've been wonderful. Tip your waiter.

I'm glad he's not staying "closer to the center" -- that's for cowards. To paraphrase Mr. Miyagi, you walk in the middle of the road, you get squished like grape.

So far Obama is (for the most part) walking on the left (and when you're left, you're right).

I disagree. For the most part, he has stayed close to the center. In fact, from listening to a few stories on NPR yesteday, some of his supporters on the left are definitely not happy with him. And to quote me, if you are pissing the left and the right off, you are doing something right.

Mine changed years ago, probably right out of high school.

Politicians and their obsession with power and control have left a horrible taste in my mouth for the past ten years. Neither Clinton, Bush, or Obama have done anything to ease that hatred for where this country is heading.

So no, they have not changed since the election.

when you're 100% right all the time like I am, why is there a need to change?

I will admit that i voted for Obama. I am a Democrat but I am neither left nor right. I felt that he was the best canidate. But I am starting to question some of the things he is doing. I figured he would be able to stay closer to center than McCain. Guess i was wrong.

I was wondering has any one elses political veiws have changed since the Election.

If your views have changed, will you change your voting in 2010 or 2012?

I have a feeling there are many more like you. He was trained by people with radical views, but nobody seemed to care because of his ability to give good campaign speeches.

I have had many folks tell me that they drank the Kool Aid.

Personally I don't have a problem with President Obama, I just hate his ideals, and the way that he wants this country to move "forward".

I don't dislike Obama the person. I absolutely hate the direction he is wanting to take the country though.

But in the Tinderbox, disagreeing with Obama policy = bigot/racist.
