Highly doubt that Ansah and Jordan make it outside of the top 10 with their combine performances.

Damontre Moore on the other hand...I could see falling. He was terrible at the bench and not too fast either.

Debatable. The combine didn't tell us anything new. We all knew he's an athletic freak.

Most people knew he'd test well. It was really a necessity for him--he had the reputation of a physical freak, but his play didn't quite live up to it. I don't think anyone would be upset with the value, but it really dpeends on who else is on the board at that time.

I hope he makes it to 14 for another reason. New Orleans would be salivating over him as everyone else behind us like Pittsburgh and others, all who need OLB for 3-4. Trade down or take him?

My how the tone can change in one day. I still don't see him as a top 10 pick. Can't contribute in a big enough way right away when there are quite a few guys that can.

IMO he really needs a situation like we have here so he can come along with little pressure. I could easily see him 11-16 though which is where I think he will go.

i mean people act like newton cant throw....build the fuging team around him......like they did brady and manning. BIG stout oline and superstar deep threat WR. you do realize brady and manning have the top 5 left tackles, no......guess you never heard of clady and solder. they are top 10 left tackles and people wonder why they are so deadly in the pocket....they have all the time in the world!!!!


those offenses STAY GOOD YEAR IN AND YEAR OUT.....they are always in the playoffs.......while building defense is important to win a championship...none of those big defensive(bucs,ravens(2000),bears) teams have LONG lasting success....they are always one in done in the superbowl......

now teams with a BIG POWERFUL offense but with just solid d are always around in the playoffs.

giants could basically rush the passer......which is the most important thing on defense...last time i checked panthers can rush the passer good enough. wouldnt mind getting a late round DE though........

but ELI throws for alot of yards.......and probably has the best wr duo with a great underrated left tackle. never really had a big star running back either.....jacobs and bradshaw were solid.....never were elite like AP.

If he's there at 14 he would be BPA and would be the selection. I doubt he's there, wouldn't be shocked by the pick if he's there though. I've actually done said something about us taking him a few weeks ago if he was there.

Hardy is going to want a pay day, no telling if the team would be able to sign him. Draft him and move him, CJ and Hardy around in the front 7 and cause havoc for opposing team Olines.

High risk/high reward type of pick. It would be a stark departure from the usually safest player first round philosophy we have been running. Actually that has been pretty good for us, in the first round at least...I wouldn't draft him unless I was sure without a doubt he was going to boom.

He's an interesting prospect, but he has a high bust possibility and we aren't in a position to take a player that's not a need and is a definite project/risk.

This kid is going to be very good given the right situation. I'm telling you.. we have the perfect situation! This will be a great pick if we have the chance to pick him!
