some bottle-service mixers at your favorite nightclub.

It scares me that Bloomberg is able to dictate bans like this (or have they actually been legislated?) What is the limit to what he can dictate from the mayor's office?

Let's ban privately owned supermarkets, as well!!

I get the idea of encouraging people to not kill themselves, but this is just silly.

You want to curb soda consumption, put a tax on it. Call it a fat tax. Hell it already has less nutritional benefits than alcohol and they tax that poo

I'm shocked that you arent a fan of sin tax.

But fat people cost the government more than thin people in terms of health care costs, and fat people also consume more soda. The link between sugar and diabetes is pretty fuging clear, maybe this societal cost should be including in the cost of your sugar water?

Hummmm wait, so you are saying that programs that the federal government put into place to "help" people, is costing us a ton of money?

Now instead of changing the first program, we just need another program to help keep people off the first program?

I'm in a weird in between place on things like this...the cost to care for people is going to rise dramatically. We are on the verge of a diabetic epidemic.
