Nah, this pres's policies would have nothing to do with the price escalation. Denying the pipelines and off-shore drilling, as well as high tax increases and regulations mounting. No way the pres could have an effect on prices.

Limiting expanding refining, limits on expansion of exploration, moratoriums on offshore, pipeline regulatory battles, channeling monies to green company failures one after the other, stupid fuel blend requirements that cause seasonal spikes in prices....yeah...it might not have Obama's personal stamp on it, but it damned sure can lie at the doorstep of liberal policies. Everyone recognizes there needs to be balance, but the pendulum has swung too far to the left.

not sure how a fine for BP will raise gas prices very much.
