Oh the beauty of politics is found in this sentence right here.

The Republicans are in control of a do nothing Congress that has only had 15 sessions and only one mark up session in 8 weeks. If Obama complains about them not doing poo it just Obama "blaming" Republicans and "accomplishing nothing".

BUT as soon as he signs any executive order, it is "Derp circumventing Congress...derp.. he thinks he is a king... derp"

And the Republican minions eat that poo up.

The Republican Congress is not doing "nothing". They are keeping Obama from wrecking this economy and country more than he has.

If he had his way, the spending would skyrocket.

SOTU

Everyone heard how his new initiatives would not add a dime to the deficit. Bwaaahahaha...but has Obama shown any plan where he does those things and the cuts made in order to do them?

I got to listen to Woodward speak at a conference a few years ago. He is an interesting and funny guy, and one of the few media members who seems to be somewhat even handed in his take on conservatives and liberals.

President Barack Obama enters the latest budget showdown with Congress with his highest job- approval rating in three years and public support for his economic message, while his Republican opponents’ popularity stands at a record low.

Fifty-five percent of Americans approve of Obama’s performance in office, his strongest level of support since September 2009, according to a Bloomberg National poll conducted Feb. 15-18. Only 35 percent of the country has a favorable view of the Republican Party, the lowest rating in a survey that began in September 2009. The party’s brand slipped six percentage points in the last six months, the poll shows.

The majority does not blame Obama for "things not getting done." They blame the Republicans.

the largest news network in the country also serves as the propaganda arm of the republican party. stop blaming everyone and everything but the real cause of your party's decline, or accept being relegated to a permanent minority as southern states gradually turn purple, then blue

Wars have a way of doing that; in fact in those long ago days "You need to respect your President, we're at war and need to stick together!" was, for some reason I can't quite put my finger on, in vogue by a lot of my conservative friends.

Even though "it's Obamas War!" now, for some reason that whole "gotta respect the President during war!" Has turned into "It's patriotic to be against your President!" now.
