a true hero. the part that really hits home is how the cop is just like "your constitutional rights are safe here. we just want to say hello. we know you're here and things are ok" which iirc is exactly what the police said to rosa parks when they boarded the bus; you know, right before they patted her on the shoulder and declared the civil rights movement a success
