Which is exactly why I'm beginning to think it won't happen.

This franchise has made and, until further notice, will continue to make the wrong decision at literally every crossroads.

IMO they havent made a bad personnel decision since Cho got there

So you're not going to go to a Bobcats game, but you will go to a Hornets game with the same players and same organization?

That just makes you an idiot.

Same thing if the Panthers changed their name or UNC changed theirs

These are the teams I grew up with as a kid. The name an logo have a lot of sentimental value to me

So if that makes me an idiot then I guess Im an idiot

I understand, but if you aren't going to go to a game at least let it be because the team sucks lol.

I can't!! I got to Panther home games every year and they suck. If I stopped I'd be considered a hypocrite

The NBA said it will cost $3 million for a name change.

How much was the new house MJ just bought in Cornelius? $2.8 million?

Interesting.

Like I said though, MJ needs to just put an end to this one way or another.

Mike Dunlap.

Not putting that entirely on Cho, but it looks like the Cats are going to be in the market for another head coach very soon.

Not sure how Mike Dunlap was a stupid decision. It would be stupid to pay Nate McMillan 7 million dollars to coach a team that can't compete. Dunlap was brought in as a stop-gap who could teach the young guys the game of basketball.

I don't know why that's so hard to understand.

Bismack Biyombo over Kenneth Faried

Mike Dunlap over Jerry Sloan and Nate McMillan

I trust the guy and he gives hope for the future (whenever that is supposed to be) but let's not act like he's immune from any criticism and that everything he does is great. Remember when every move Marty Hurney made was "great?" How did that work out?

As much as I love watching Faried play, he is not a good fit for this team. As an undersized PF who specializes in rebounding and defense, he is a great role player for a contending team, but he cant create his own offense and has little upside. Biyombo was the high risk pick, and right now it looks like he busted, but he makes sense as a raw player that you take a chance on and hope he turns into something in 4 years when his rookie contract is up

Sloan or McMillan would have been silly, they would have just coached this team out of a top 5 pick and back into mediocrity, the no mans land for NBA teams. Also they would not be happy with management telling them to play the young guys (aka dont go for the win)

MJ and the Bobcats polling Bobcat fans reminds me of those restaurant makeover shows when the failing business owner is worried about his regulars instead of expanding his customer base.

Why does that make him an idiot? I grew up in Charlotte cheering for the Hornets. I moved to AZ in 2002. Every time the Panthers play on the west coast, I go. If they don't come out here then I make a trip to Charlotte. The ONLY reason I have directv is for the Sunday Ticket.

I've never once been to or watched an entire Bobcats game. I was offered free tickets to one when I was in town in Dec for the Raiders game, but decided to not go. I feel like if they were the Hornets again, I'd watch. The name is part of my youth. Does that make me an idiot?
