What positions are a must to upgrade?

Recommended Posts

We cannot assume we will re-sign our FAs so having said that we have real holes to fill.

fs, UT,cb, OG are the 4 that come to mind. I figure we will get two starters in the draft and we must get a FS and OG that are not on the team.

S (either spot) move Godfrey to where the other guy isn't best suited. Godfrey likely will be parted with soon so he shouldn't dictate anything.

RG

CB

RT (need to start looking for LT as well)

DT

WR

RG

LT (Upgrading LT in the draft could kill 3 birds with one stone. LT, RT by moving Gross over, and RG by sliding Bell inside)

CB (1 & 2)

S

WR2

K

TE2

QB2 (if DA bolts)

DT

Only problem with drafting a young LT is playing him beside Silatolu who still has a long way to go.

UT?? What?

Yes, if we can't resign Dwan. No, if we can.

NT > UT

A long ways to go up until last year. This year Silatolu could play at an All-Pro level you never know. Byron Bell got a lot better his 2nd year

Very true. Silatolu held his own for a rookie from a tiny school. He made some all rookie teams. Mentally though having a seasoned vet next to him was a help. I guess with Kalil back he'd still have that presence to lean on.
