Nope, it's not a discussion. Luke is the MLB, end of discussion.

then you guys have a bad case of the new shiney.

I'm not saying it won't be Luke but there will be a discussion about it.

Not a serious one. Baring an injury, Luke is the middle linebacker. There is literally 0% chance that Beason is ever our Mike again unless Luke goes down with an injury.

lets see here your logic: rookie MLB wins RDPOY > 3 time probowler 2 time all pro MLB

And you don't think that there will be a discussion at all at MLB? Gtfo

Excuse me for having a memory that goes back further then last season.

Um, no, I don't think their is a discussion. Luke Kuechly is our MLB. Discussion over. Coaches have all but confirmed that.

Jon Beason has played 5 games in 2 yrs. He is still going to have to work (play) to POTENTIALLY get back to being the old Beason.

Luke Kuechly as a rookie.....was just as good as Beason in his prime. Plus, Beason is more suited for OLB than Luke.

Luke is the Mike

End of story

Good luck to Beason even earning a spot on the field

A healthy Davis (for as long as he stays healthy), needs to be at WLB.

Here is Jon Beason having that discussion as was reported on panthers.com

"When you look at the different skill sets, Jon has skill sets to play inside and outside a little bit more than Luke does. Luke, his skill set lends more toward being an inside guy," Rivera said in December. "I think we may have found something here. It's one of those things where you do what's going to be best for us."
Beason understands the Panthers defense may work best with Kuechly in the middle. He's open to the idea and is willing to adjust.
"Playing on the outside is no biggie for me," Beason said. "I'll have the same approach to how I play the game. I think if anything, it's going to make me more motivated, because now I have to fight a little harder to make more plays."

It was so obvious they already had the talk.

There is zero chance that Luke will not be the starting MLB this season....and many to come.
