I like it but bell struggled at guard last season when he was moved there. I still wouldnt be opposed to johnson pick though
I think he struggled because Gary Williams was lines up at RT.

Could be. His body is built more for being a tackle, he plays upright. But who knows with more practice he could be good. I like your line of thinking though.

And Gettleman will probably stick to his traditional NY way of gettin Vets OL through FA.
If I want an OT, I'll wait till next year for a Matthews or Lewan. Imo both of them are much better. Remember, if they didn't go back to school, they'd be the 2nd/3rd behind Jockel.

I doubt we'll be in a position to draft them next year.I dnt like Johnson as much as everyone else. He's a great player and athlete dnt get me wrong. We just need help at other areas.

You never know where we'll be drafting. Theirs stock could rise or fall. Other OTs that we haven't heard about could rise above theirs.

We would be fools not to get a tackle out of this draft.
While one of the top three would be most desirable, there will also be some nice options in the 2nd round.

Mayock said last night that Joeckle and Fisher are better today but Johnson has the highest ceiling of the three. OL improvement should be a priority.

This is the best class of linemen in a long time.

the nice thing too is that this draft is deep with DB, DT and WR... so we do have the luxury of picking up a tackle early if we like one.

Would've been one of, if not the best if Matthews and Lewan had enter. Both Fisher and Johnson would be have in the late 1st or early 2nd.

OL should be a priority, but that OL is at RG. OT is a priority for the future once Gross is done. I'd grab a RG through FA and leave Gross and Bell at where they are. Grab an OT next year.
As much as some of y'all love Johnson, I can't see Get pulling the trigger on him. It's just not a need atm.

I still think Fisher would be the second LT taken, but Johnson would be pushed a bit down the board for sure....
