Yeah, Olsen gets 3 million next week instead of over the course of the season. He's taking one for the team.

Here is my question. We switched salary for bonus money, Olsen's compensation stays the same and we get cap relief.
Why didn't we structure it that way in the first place?

It's not really cap relief overall. We still pay him the same and take the same cap hits, it's just that they are shifting some of the cap hit into the future.
