He's a mid round prospect.
Vaccaro is one of the top coverage Safeties to come out in a few years.I honestly don't see how anyone could dispute that by saying "well, j was watching these YouTube videos.." and still take themselves seriously.

lol kenny v is good but people on here refuse to see evidence that hes not on ed reed level when coming out. if i was getting ed reed i would be happy. im skeptical on this dude.

This is exactly why I said he was overrated. He is not worthy of the 14th pick, when there is gonna be some great talent left at that pick. He's good but he is not THAT great of a safety to warrant that pick.

If Bacarri's name name was John Smith people wouldn't care about him.
He's a mid round prospect.

That's funny because Texas used him in the box a ton and most of his weaknesses involve his backend coverage skills. Poor zone defender, lack of elite speed and poor defense against seam plays. Also some open field question marks as well.

Sorry cant do it I would feel like a used cars salesman trying to sell you a lemon.
I was a car-salesman and I can't sell him on Vaccaro I think he is slow as piss takes bad angles and is seriously overrated.

However Earl Thomas had elite speed and Baccaro did look a lot like Sherrod Martin out there in games..almost there..just missed or totally missed on a play.
Gotta have a guy who can dictate the play and beat his guy at OL DL or skill guys.

so for all you people who dislike Kenny V. can you explain why he has been rated as the top saftey in the draft for almost a year?....
He's from a big school, performed well when placed close to the line of scrimmage and in man coverage or press situations. He's very aggressive and plays man coverage well. He's got ok speed and good hip fluidity when turning his hips. (look no further then his 20 yard shuffle at the combine for that) He's also given a bump because he has NFL bloodlines as his father played Professional football for 7 seasons out of Texas State.
That's the good part, the bad part is that he struggles as a deep defender, struggles in zone coverage and defending the seam. He's also prone to taking bad angles and going to far up field when helping on defense. His speed and athleticism are ok, not great. He lacks top end speed which hurts him when trying to catch up to a play or playing help defense on busted runs. He's not very fundamentally sound and that shows in his backpedal and zone coverage skills, not a natural smart instinctive player - which shows up in his angles, zone coverage skills and his over aggressiveness causes him to bite too much on play action plays.
He's got a 2nd/3rd round grade from the NFL.com/Draft site.

Where as Cyprien (who I think is the best safety in the class) Has a thick build and plays smart, instinctive and aggressive . Also shows a knack for being bit up into play action plays but plays well in zone defense. He also takes much better angles on outside plays then Vaccaro. Same thing though, as far as weakness go. He lacks elite speed and athleticism to be a one deep safety.
Where he ends up will be determined on how well he performs at his pro day because of the hamstring injury at the combine. With a good showing he'll pass Vaccaro as the number 1 rated safety in the draft.

but despite these weaknesses you point out the other competitions must have them and more in order for him to be considered number 1. i also think some of his weaknesses are over exaggerated besides his speed

Best reason he is rated the #1 safety?
That is easy...
This is a terrible top end safety draft class.
