You opened this thread assuming it would be about where I vacation when I'm bored.

Actually, these are the only three states that are not home to venomous snakes.

According to my snapple top.

Maine is a great state to get away and relax. One can seclude themselves in a cabin in the woods and live off the land/game, enjoy the many lakes, or enjoy the extensive coastline.

I have a rental home available a street away from the ocean and with a great view. A minutes walk from the beach.

If someone wanted to troll Hawaii they could bring some cobras or puff adders over there and then leave

Weird that none of them do...

My mind would tell me that Hawaii is tropical, Alaska is huge, extensive, and full of wildlife, and Maine is like Alaska, except further south and east.

Alaska is frozen 10 1/2 months out of the year...that makes sense

Hawaii and Maine is a surprise to me

From Google Earth:

Here's another from Google Earth of the house I live in full-time...it's right down the road about 4-5 houses from our rental property:

And just to get a sense of the location from above; this is the peninsula that both of these houses are located on...about a 1-2 minute walk to either of the beaches on each side. The longer beach on the left in this picture is very popular in the summer months.
