roughly 68% vote for ahmadinejad, after masavi was leading in the polls

tehran is essentially under martial law

largest victory since the iranian revolution

even more embarrassing for democracy than america buying the recent Lebanese election

The youth should take the lead from the current leadership and revolt, as they did, 30 years ago.

If he wins, how can it not have been rigged, considering the overwhelming demographic of Iran?

The US should be doing everything we can to foster this new revolution.

Its not as simple as it seems. They had a couple of Iranian journalist on NPR yesterday, and apparently Ahmadinejad has a lot of support among the poor and rural areas in Iran. Its not a guarantee that its fixed, although the possibility exist.

And if there is a Civil War, it will not last long. The religous leaders will see to that.

Maybe. Or perhaps they get so involved in internal affairs that Iraq becomes less important to them.

    • maybe but I doubt it would be the same...given Putin actually hates Hillary.  So there could be some money junk worth looking into but not on the Trump scale and not.
    • With the depth of this draft, I have no problems going after more picks.  I am of leery of moving up to get guys when you end up having to sell the farm.  I know Gettleman loves to say he'd rather have quarter than two dimes, so I think that's going to be a part of this draft. Then again, if we can get two impact players, a couple of contributors, can we call this a failure?  Only time will tell.  According to the draftniks like Mayock (who'se up for the Redskins job) say you can get a 2nd round pass rusher in prior years drafts in the 4th.  Seems to say to me that moving up may not have as much value as we think.
    • But Russians are the enemy, or at least 100 days ago. Why should that change so much?  Anything to undermine the President at the time. To bad racism can't be used as a defense.
